Responsibilities:
For Fresher Candidates:
- Data Entry: Assist with data entry tasks, including recording financial transactions, invoices, and expenses into the accounting system.
- Assistance in Reconciliation: Support senior accountants in bank reconciliation and account statement analysis.
- Assist in Month-end Close: Participate in month-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
- Learn and Grow: Continuously update knowledge of accounting principles and software tools, seeking opportunities for skill development.
For Experienced Candidates (In addition to the above responsibilities):
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances, and providing recommendations.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
For Fresher Candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
For Experienced Candidates (In addition to the above qualifications):
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- CPA or relevant accounting certifications preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
