Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptual Design:

   • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
   • Create preliminary design concepts and present them through sketches, drawings, and 3D models.
   • Incorporate sustainable and innovative design solutions.

2. Detailed Design and Documentation:

   • Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
   • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
   • Work with engineering consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into designs.

3. Project Management:

   • Lead and coordinate project teams, including interior designers, drafters, and engineers.
   • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
   • Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address concerns.

4. Construction Oversight:

   • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
   • Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve construction issues.
   • Review and approve change orders and RFIs.

5. Research and Innovation:

   • Stay current with architectural trends, materials, and technologies.
   • Research and propose sustainable and eco-friendly design solutions.
   • Explore creative and cutting-edge design approaches.

6. Client Relationship Management:

   • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
   • Understand and respond to client feedback and requirements.
   • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Professional licensure as an architect (if applicable in your region).
• Proven experience in architectural design, project management, and construction oversight.
• Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong design sensibility and ability to create compelling visual presentations.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to design excellence.
