🔧 Position Overview

The Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance will play a critical role in ensuring operational reliability, efficiency, and longevity of plant machinery. This role demands a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

• Maintain and service industrial laundry machines like washers, dryers, extractors, steam ironers, and folding systems
• Ensure maximum uptime through structured maintenance planning
• Track performance metrics and maintain equipment history records

2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) strategies
• Align maintenance schedules with OEM recommendations
• Improve KPIs like MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)

3. Technical Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve issues in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• Handle breakdown maintenance for boilers, compressors, pipelines, valves, and pneumatic systems

4. Utilities & Infrastructure Management

• Manage utility systems including steam, water supply, and compressed air
• Optimize energy and resource usage

5. Vendor Management & Spares Control

• Coordinate with OEMs and contractors for maintenance services
• Manage spare parts inventory efficiently
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance

6. Compliance, Safety & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
• Maintain proper documentation for audits
• Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence
