Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Location: Odisha
Position Overview:As an Accounting Coordinator at careersathi. you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and efficiency of our organization. You will assist with various accounting tasks and collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices and expense reports promptly and accurately.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and send customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.

General Ledger Support:
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording transactions and journal entries.
- Help with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the generation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Expense Management:
- Monitor and review employee expense reports for compliance with company policies.
- Process and reimburse employee expenses in a timely manner.
- Assist in tracking and controlling expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Data Entry and Accuracy:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial records.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Assist with data analysis and financial modeling.

Audit and Compliance:
- Assist in preparing documents and schedules for financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax-related activities.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation within the finance department.
- Collaborate with team members to implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance-related roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing responsibilities.
