Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Bhubaneswar. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Your expertise in electrical work will contribute to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Installation and Repair:

   • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
   • Replace or upgrade electrical components, such as outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
   • Perform electrical maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.

2. Safety Compliance:

   • Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations.
   • Identify and mitigate electrical hazards in the workplace.
   • Promote and adhere to safe work practices.

3. Equipment Testing:

   • Conduct regular testing and inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and prevent failures.
   • Use testing equipment, such as multimeters, to diagnose electrical problems accurately.

4. Documentation:

   • Maintain detailed records of electrical work, repairs, and maintenance activities.
   • Document electrical specifications and procedures for reference.

5. Emergency Response:

   • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, such as power outages or electrical failures, to minimize downtime.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

6. Team Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities staff to address electrical and maintenance needs.
   • Provide guidance and assistance to junior electricians or apprentices as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid Electrical License issued by the appropriate authority.
• Proven experience as an Electrician in a similar role.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
