Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our team in Bhubaneswar. The Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment or systems as needed. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, or systems as required. Ensure all equipment is in working order and meets safety standards.

2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions efficiently. Identify the root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.

3. Installation: Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, machinery, or systems. Ensure proper installation procedures and safety measures are followed.

4. Testing and Calibration: Conduct testing, calibration, and quality checks on equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Maintain records of testing and calibration procedures.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities. Create and update technical documentation and manuals as needed.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing technical tasks. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

7. Inventory Management: Keep track of spare parts, tools, and supplies. Maintain an organized inventory and notify relevant personnel when replenishment is needed.

8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve project goals and objectives. Provide technical support and expertise as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Technician or similar role.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
• Familiarity with tools, machinery, and technical instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional technical certifications or specialized training.
• Previous experience in a similar industry or with specific types of equipment.
• Knowledge of computer systems and software relevant to the role.
