Job Summary:

As a Web Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that effectively communicate our brand and message. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing web content, layouts, and graphics to enhance the user experience and drive engagement. Your creativity and design expertise will be critical in shaping our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Design and Development:

   • Conceptualize and create visually compelling and responsive web designs.
   • Collaborate with the web development team to transform design concepts into functional websites.
   • Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and user experience (UX) best practices.

2. Graphic Design:

   • Design graphics, icons, and other visual elements for web use.
   • Create custom images, illustrations, and infographics as needed.
   • Optimize images and graphics for web performance and fast loading times.

3. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design:

   • Develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for websites and web applications.
   • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve the overall user experience.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging UI/UX design practices.

4. Content Management:

   • Manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
   • Collaborate with content creators to integrate text, images, and multimedia elements.
   • Maintain consistent design aesthetics throughout the website.

5. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

   • Implement SEO best practices in web design to improve organic search rankings.
   • Optimize website structure and content for search engines.
   • Collaborate with the digital marketing team on SEO initiatives.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   • Work closely with marketing, development, and other teams to align web design with overall business goals.
   • Provide design support for online marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
• Proficiency in web design and graphics software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
• Familiarity with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO and its impact on web design.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
