Job Title: Tele Counselor
Student Advising and Support:
- Interact with prospective and current students via phone calls and emails.
- Understand their educational goals, interests, and career aspirations.
- Provide guidance on available programs, courses, and educational pathways.
- Share detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, application processes, and tuition fees.
- Address inquiries related to course content, curriculum, and program outcomes.
- Assist students with the application process, including form completion, document submission, and deadlines.
- Guide students on gathering and preparing necessary application materials.
Financial Aid and Scholarships:
- Inform students about available financial aid options, scholarships, and grants.
- Assist in explaining the application process for financial assistance.
Follow-Up and Engagement:
- Maintain a database of student inquiries and interactions.
- Conduct follow-up calls to check on application status and offer additional support.
- Gather feedback from students and potential learners to improve services and processes.
- Report common concerns or trends to the admissions and administrative teams.
Adherence to Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant educational regulations and institutional policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Tele Counselor or in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Empathetic and patient approach in assisting students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using telecommunication and database software.
- Knowledge of educational programs and admission processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
