Position Overview:As a Human Resource Generalist at Careersathi, you will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions to ensure a productive, engaged, and compliant workforce. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Source, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates.
- Conduct reference checks and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Employee Relations:
- Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and provide guidance on HR policies.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve employee retention.

HR Policy and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Stay informed about labor laws and regulations applicable in Odisha and implement necessary changes.
- Manage HR documentation, records, and audits.

Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee performance.

Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer employee benefit programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
- Conduct salary surveys and recommend competitive compensation packages.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy.

Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and create professional development programs.
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.

HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Generate HR reports and analyze key HR metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for HR improvements.
- Ensure HR data integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Odisha labor laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
