Position Overview:As a Human Resource Generalist at Careersathi, you will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions to ensure a productive, engaged, and compliant workforce. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
    • Source, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates.
    • Conduct reference checks and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Address employee concerns, grievances, and provide guidance on HR policies.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve employee retention.
  3. HR Policy and Compliance:

    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
    • Stay informed about labor laws and regulations applicable in Odisha and implement necessary changes.
    • Manage HR documentation, records, and audits.
  4. Performance Management:

    • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee performance.
  5. Benefits and Compensation:

    • Administer employee benefit programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
    • Conduct salary surveys and recommend competitive compensation packages.
    • Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
  6. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and create professional development programs.
    • Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
    • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
  7. HR Metrics and Reporting:

    • Generate HR reports and analyze key HR metrics.
    • Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for HR improvements.
    • Ensure HR data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Odisha labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
