Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components. Your work will contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs, plans, and specifications for products, systems, or components, considering factors such as safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Analysis: Perform structural and thermal analyses, simulations, and tests to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical systems.

3. Prototyping: Build and test prototypes of mechanical systems and components to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.

4. Materials Selection: Select appropriate materials for mechanical components based on performance requirements and cost considerations.

5. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, schematics, and design reports, to communicate design intent and specifications.

6. CAD Modeling: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical systems and components.

7. Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs can be produced efficiently and with high quality.

8. Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain product quality and consistency.

9. Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.

10. Compliance: Ensure that mechanical designs and products comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

11. Project Management: Manage engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources, to meet project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

2. years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.

3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.

7. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

8. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.

9. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
