Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems, products, or processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Design and Analysis:

   • Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components, systems, or products.
   • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure designs meet performance and safety requirements.
   • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

2. Prototyping and Testing:

   • Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and evaluate performance.
   • Conduct experiments, tests, and simulations to identify and address design flaws.
   • Analyze test data and recommend design modifications as needed.

3. Project Management:

   • Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through implementation.
   • Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, designers, and technicians.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure that mechanical designs and products meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
   • Participate in design reviews and product testing to identify and resolve quality issues.

5. Technical Documentation:

   • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and reports.
   • Prepare user manuals and technical documentation for products or systems.

6. Continuous Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in mechanical design and manufacturing.
   • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a similar role.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software is a plus.
