Title: Service Engineer

Department: Service and Maintenance

Job Summary:

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our company’s products or equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.


  1. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, both remotely and on-site, to diagnose and resolve product or equipment-related issues.

  2. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of company products or equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

  3. Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

  4. Customer Interaction: Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during interactions with clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.

  5. Documentation: Document service activities, including service reports, repair logs, and equipment condition reports. Maintain accurate records of all service visits.

  6. Parts Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment required for service and repairs. Order and restock parts as needed.

  7. Training: Provide training and guidance to customers and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.

  8. Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during service visits and equipment maintenance.

  9. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all service activities meet quality standards and comply with company policies and procedures.

  10. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular service reports and updates to the Service Manager.

  11. Feedback: Gather customer feedback and insights on product performance and service quality to improve processes and products.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
