Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automobile Engineer to join our engineering team. The Automobile Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing automobile components and systems. This role will play a key part in the development of our automotive products, ensuring their safety, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automobile components and systems.
   • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for automotive parts.
   • Ensure designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.

2. Testing and Validation:

   • Plan and conduct tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of automotive systems.
   • Analyze test data and develop recommendations for improvements.
   • Collaborate with testing labs and external partners as needed.

3. Continuous Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in automobile engineering.
   • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automotive engineering.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure that automobile components and systems meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
   • Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.

5. Technical Documentation:

   • Maintain detailed documentation of engineering designs, test results, and project progress.
   • Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

6. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure that all automobile engineering work complies with safety standards, regulations, and industry norms.
   • Address safety concerns and implement safety measures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
• Proven experience as an Automobile Engineer with a strong portfolio of successful automotive projects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of automotive safety regulations and industry standards.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software is a plus.
